Chapter 01
About LALEDA
Yes, and we always have. From pattern making to stitching and finishing, everything is done by our own team in our Bangkok atelier. We're one of very few tailors that still work this way, rather than outsourcing production.
LALEDA has been tailoring for women in Bangkok since 1989, with 37 years of dressmaking experience.
Not currently, aside from the occasional piece on display at the front of our shop. We're working on a ready-to-wear signature collection, coming soon.
Chapter 02
Fabric & Materials
You can bring your own fabric or choose from a range of fabrics that we have, with about a hundred hues from bright to pastels to choose from. We are happy to guide if you would like to source more specific fabrics. You can also read our guide to fabric shopping in Bangkok. Zips, buttons and other details are provided in high-quality. Colors of finishing details are color-matched to seamlessly align with your fabric and design.
The length of fabric depends on the type of clothing you'd like to tailor and your dimensions. Kindly call or message us with your details and we will advise right away on the recommended length.
We work with a wide range of fabrics, including silk, linen, wool, cotton, tweed, and various blends. We can also source premium and global brand fabrics for your custom garments.

Design & Customization
Yes, we can copy any piece of clothing or create a new pattern based on any picture you provide. As a matter of fact, Pinterest and Instagram are great sources for inspiration and design references! We're also happy to suggest ideas, adjustments, and styling options.
Absolutely. We can work from photos, sketches, or existing garments to replicate or adapt designs to your specifications. Bring your inspiration, and we'll bring it to life.
Bespoke tailoring involves creating a unique pattern from scratch based on your exact measurements and design preferences, offering the highest level of customization. Made-to-measure uses an existing pattern that is then adjusted to your measurements. At LALEDA, we only tailor bespoke: every client gets a brand-new pattern made just for them, never a reused or adjusted block.

Services & Process
We specialize in women's tailoring, including dresses, suits, pants, skirts, blouses, and formal wear. We also offer wedding dress tailoring and alterations.
Yes, we do. With strong expertise in tailoring women's suits, we make both casual and formal suits. For suits we have a wide range of imported and local fabrics, from wool blends to 100% wool, linen, and cashmere blends. We carry leading imported fabrics such as Loro Piana, Dormeuil and Vitale Barberis Canonico, alongside fabrics from local mills.
Yes, we provide professional alteration services for all types of garments, from casual wear to wedding dresses and bespoke suits.
Typically our tailoring process involves a first visit for consultation and measurements, followed by a fitting session 3-5 days later. The final garment is usually ready 7 days after the fitting.
We typically schedule a second visit for a fitting where adjustments can be made to ensure the perfect fit. Minor adjustments are usually done on the spot, or within a few days.

Chapter 05
Appointments & Booking
Yes, please call or message to arrange an appointment beforehand. We are open Mon-Sat 10AM-5PM (last appointment at 4:30PM, closed Sundays). This way we can ensure a dedicated slot for a private fitting.
You can book an appointment by calling us directly, sending a message via chat, or filling out the contact form on our website. We recommend booking in advance to ensure dedicated time for your consultation.
We reserve about 1 hour for each appointment so there is plenty of time for the consultation, fabric selection, and measurements, though it can be as quick as 30 minutes. Alteration appointments are usually faster.
We are open Monday to Saturday from 10AM to 5PM (last appointment at 4:30PM). We are closed on Sundays. Appointments are recommended.
Yes, we offer home visits for your convenience, especially for clients who prefer a consultation at their residence or hotel. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time.

Pricing & Payment
Please see our pricing here. Our prices are competitive with fast delivery and great attention to detail, with 37 years of experience in women's dressmaking. We believe in transparent pricing. The final price is always confirmed once the design and details are finalized.
What goes into our pricing:
- All of our tailoring is done entirely by our experienced in-house tailor and seamstress team, ensuring complete control of quality and delivery.
- All measurements and consultations are done by our Head / Senior Pattern Makers.
- Each piece we tailor usually involves 7-9 people from consultation, measurement, pattern making, stitching, adjustments, cleaning and finalizing, to quality control and final hand-over / delivery.
- To ensure quality and attention to detail, we only tailor a limited number of garments each month.
- We use premium tailoring materials such as lining and zips for high quality and durability.
- We are a women-led family company and prioritize female employment opportunities.
