Is there time on your trip?
It depends on the piece. A simple dress or blouse can often be ready within a week, so a longer holiday is plenty. A tailored suit or a gown needs more time and at least one fitting, so for a short trip we often take your measurements, start the work, and post the finished piece to you, or have it ready for a return visit. Tell us your dates and we will be honest about what fits.

The most rewarding things to have made are the ones that never fit off the rack: a tailored suit, an occasion dress, and shirts and blouses in a fabric you love. Bringing a favourite garment to copy is a popular, low-risk way to start.
Your first visit
Come with an idea, a photo or a garment you love. We take your measurements, talk through the design, and help you choose fabric from the bolts at the atelier, or work with cloth you have brought. You can read how the process works and the price guide before you come, so there are no surprises.
Ordering again from home
This is the part visitors love. Once we have made for you, we keep your pattern and measurements, so you can reorder from anywhere in new fabrics and colours, and we post them to you. Many clients who met us on one trip now restock their wardrobe by message.
